30 Day Harry Potter Challenge-Day 4

Day 4:Least fave female character and why:

Hmmm,that's reaaaaaaaly hard.Ummmm,hmmmmm,I don't...I really can't....I honestly can't think of one.I mean,I could say Bellatrix,but that's just taking the easy way out.Plus,she's actually a really interesting character,so she's definitely not my least favorite.I guess it would have to be...Lavender.I don't hate her or anything.And it's not even because I'm a fierce Romione shipper.It's just that I don't think her character's very interesting.All the others are,except hers.She was just so shallow & superficial.I mean,I guess she was a nice girl,and she'll find herself the right person to be with,but she just didn't interest me and she kind of really annoyed me.So,yeah,I guess that's it.

30 Day Harry Potter Challenge-Day 3

Day 3: Is there any of the films adaptations that have made you angry because they’ve ignored important parts of the book?

Oh my God,yes!Half-Blood Prince.I am about to list everything that was wrong with that film.Look out,rant coming here.


1.The Harry/Ginny kiss!What the HELL was that supposed to be?!?!I mean,it was cute,it was sweet,but it was NOT HARRY/GINNY!Harry & Ginny have fiery chemistry & a spontaneous relationship.The book kiss was absolutely perfect.The movie got it SO WRONG!


2.There was way too few Pensieve scenes!Seriously,what happened to the Gaunts?Where was Hepzibah Smith?How about Bob Ogden?I really wish we had gotten to see these!!!!!!!!!!


3.Where was the FUNERAL?!?!?!Seriously,the death of Albus Dumbledore was absolutely dentremental to the Wizarding World.The affect it had on people was horrible.Madam Pomfrey was in hysterics,for crying out loud!That's what it was like!People weren't able to comprehend this loss for weeks.Constant crying from some,just shocked silence from others.Seamus had a full-out shouting match with his mother about insisting on staying at Hogwarts for the funeral.The Patil twins had to leave because their parents figured Hogwarts was no longer safe.There was a beautiful funeral that laid to rest the Greatest Wizard of the Age.What does the movie have?They hold up some lit wands,Harry cries on Ginny's shoulder,and that's pretty much it.No,I'm sorry,Steve Kloves,that doesn't cut it.


Those are just the 3 major things,I could go on and on with this list.But it was still a great film,of course.Just this was the one that was least true  to the book.


And,of course,I WANT PEEVES!!!!!!

So the person who voted on my feedback poll (again,THANK YOU!) wanted more Hinny pics.Well,seeing as I am going to talk about Hinny in this post,this seems fitting.Yes,this post is a canon post about...

HARRY AND GINNY!


I love this couple,I really do.It's just so cute.And I find it to be MUCH better than Harry/Cho.And I'm not even a Hufflepuff! ;D I never really got into Harry/Cho,I'm not entirely sure why.I always thought Harry and Ginny were cute,though,so when Half-Blood Prince rolled around....Well,I think you can guess how I was feeling.But just in case you can't...


I was SO HAPPY!SO FREAKIN' HAPPY!Like,I was just elated!Jubilant!A word that means so happy you feel like you're high!It was just so great and fun and refreshing to have some Harry-Ginny love!I mean,I knew Harry would have to have a new love interest while reading OoP as soon as Harry and Cho kissed,because that was the kind of story line that when they kiss,it's pretty much done,finished,wrapped up.But I thought that Luna would be his next love interest because I thought that was the reason J.K. Rowling had introduced her that year.I was thinking "Oh,well,she needed a new love interest for him,and she must figure one year is enough to develop that."But I was so wrong!She had it all planned out from the start!She had always known Ginny was Harry's perfect,ideal girl and Cho was just a phase.She knew he would start liking Ginny when he was ready for something a bit more mature than just a first crush based on (face it) basically looks.And to everyone saying that their relationship wasn't developed enough for them to get together in the sixth year,I must say WHAT!WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!These two spent 5 years playing Quidditch together and hanging out and eventually becoming very close friends,once Ginny started being herself around Harry & he saw what a great girl she really is.So I think that 5 years is plenty of time,especially since the relationship between Harry & Cho was developed in a matter of 2 and a half years.

So now I'm gonna' stop talking and just fork over the pics.

I was so happy when they actually kept this in the movie & kept it canon!Just,so happy!It was so nice,so very nice.I felt it was simply just lovely,don't ask me why.Maybe it's because I really felt like I was watching the book come alive onscreen,or maybe it was because I was so sure they were going to cut this scene out 'cause it's so little and small,or maybe it was because I love the deeper meaning it has to those who read the book. :)

This scene is just such a fantastic expression of true love.It's just so passionate and real and beautiful.I love it.

I just love this scene because,when they were dating in HBP,all I could think of was this quote right here.Coincidence?I think not.J.K. Rowling,you GENIUS!

Coming out of DH1 kiss.I thought Dan,Bonnie,and Oliver did this scene perfectly.I mean,Oliver was just doin' his thing,being hilarious.It's what he's best at.But he also gave Harry that look of "Dude,that's my little sister.We're tight,but if you hurt her,I'll kick your ass" so effortlessly,it was like Oliver & Dan really were brothers!Dan played the awkward "Oh,s**t!" Harry perfectly.And Bonnie just is the pissed off "Really,George?" Ginny.Great acting!

Knew it from the start.Oh,she is sneaky!

*DH2 kiss.I like this one a lot because this may be the last time they ever see each other again,and they realize that when they look into each others' eyes and hear Neville talking about how he's gotta' go tell Luna he's mad for her since they'll probably both be dead when this is all over.He tries to tell her how much he loves her,but can't find the words,but she knows and lets him go.The hand squeeze at the end before he goes is so....That just says it all.

*Couldn't pass it up.Just...yes.

May I just say,serious props to Bonnie Wright for that acting in the little square box there?After Hermione says,"Cho couldn't keep her eyes off you,"her expression is just so perfect.You can see the realization that Harry likes Cho & Cho probably likes Harry hit her like a ton of bricks.The hurt that is just so there and evident in her facial expression is just...wow.It reminds me of Emma Watson in the scene where Ron & Lavender kiss.I mean,not quite on that scale,but pretty damn close.

How Does it Feel Pic (Yes,Another)

Okay,so I know I've posted a lot of variations of this gif but I just love this scene so much.I mean,it's absolutely horrible & I hate Ron for putting Hermione through this,but this is just such amazing acting done by Emma Watson & Daniel Radcliffe,especially Emma.She had to show the shock,pain,and hurt Hermione went through in this scene,and she did it perfectly.To make it even better,she showed that in a series of facial expressions in about 20 seconds.She is truly brilliant.Click on the pic and it opens a tab where you can see it moving..

*Piano scene.Such a sweet scene.

*Hermione feeling a bit conflicted after Ron's "Tiny Ball of Light" speech.Ron looking at her like she's the only thing that exists.

*I was so happy when they kept this from the book.

*Piano scene giggle that I love so much!The scene wasn't in the book,but I like some things they add in the movie,including this.I like this very much.It's just so cute!

*Over the years.Shows the piano scene moving when you click.

*Hermione grabbing onto Ron in this moment of panic in the riot of GoF.

The scene where they're all examining the necklace that possessed Katie.

I want a relationship like Ron's and Hermione's.

*Getting drenched by water in the Chamber of Secrets in DH2 before the kiss.

MONUMENTAL MOMENT OF THE FILMS HAPPENING HERE!I was so happy they got this scene right.It was one of the most anticipated of the whole movie!Of the whole series!I've been wanting this to happen since day one in book one,so naturally,this thrilled me when I read it & I wanted it to be just right in the movie.So I was SO FREAKIN' HAPPY when they got it right.I like it happening in the Chamber too,'cause it's a nice little walk down memory-lane.Just,so...God,so perfect!

That little smile after the kiss was so sweet & cute.It actually did remind me of that part they put in SS w/ "What are friends for?" & the smile after.That's another part of the films I liked that they added.And this smile was so cute & true to their relationship.

When I first read this,my heart broke.Then I got super angry at Ron for making Hermione go through this and feel these things.Then I realized that that's truly the meaning of true love,when someone can make you feel these things because you love them so much.They're that close to you.I felt all these things in a matter of seconds.Now that's an emotional whirlwind right there.
P.S.This is kinda' the process I went through when I realized Harry Potter was ending.I cried a lot.I felt empty.Then I got angry that it was gonna' be over,though I have no idea who I was angry at.I was just angry.Then I realized that it was doing this to me because I loved it so much.And because I loved it so much,it would never really be over.It would never end,not really.
